The Curious Case of Asmongold: How He Went From Living with Dead Rats to A Deep State Propagandist Overnight?
Is Zach Hoyt The Warrior King of the New Right - Or the Pied Piper of Controlled Opposition?
Meet Zach Hoyt, Twitch royalty turned political shock jock, better known to his legion of 50,000 to 75,000 daily live viewers as Asmongold. Live viewers who spend ten to twelve hours each day, seven days a week, soaking up every word he screams into the microphone.
He is easily one of the most influential voices for young men in America today, and he’s not exactly who you might expect to fill this role, or maybe he is. That will depend on your opinion of young men.
The truth is, Asmongold couldn't care less what you think of his filthy house, the two-dollar steaks he swears by, the raccoons wandering through the holes in his ceiling, or the roaches that sometimes crawl across his chest mid-stream. Even the dead rat in his bedroom, which he says served as his alarm clock for months, letting him know it was time to stream when the morning sun cooked it just enough to fill the air with its foul stench. Yep, it's true, watch the 38-second clip below.
Do you think this bothers this modern-day enigma?
Nope. Not in the slightest.
When you think about it, why would he care? This filthiness has taken him from a guy living in his mom’s attic to a multimillionaire many times over. He’s even mentioned paying seven figures in income tax each year, which means the money is rolling in hand over fist.
Regardless, he still lives in the same dirty house, although his mother sadly passed away a few years ago.
Insane streaming schedule and numbers
Asmongold is a maniac when it comes to his streaming schedule. He has two separate accounts with largely separate audiences.
Main account (Asmongold) – Usually mid-to-late morning start, going for 5–6 hours.
Alt account (zackrawrr) – Usually in the evening, another 5–6 hours.
On days he does both, that’s easily ten to twelve hours of live streaming spread across two different audiences daily.
According to StreamsCharts, his all-time peak on Twitch hit 451,627 concurrent live viewers. After a little quick math, that equals seven football stadiums filled to capacity.
On his secondary channel, zackrawrr, his all-time high came during a livestream covering Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, reaching over 311,000 concurrent viewers.
I'm sure you'd agree that’s a huge number of people, but Twitch is only part of his reach. He cranks out five or more videos from his streams to YouTube every day, and those clip compilations, sometimes running an hour long, regularly hit a million views, with some pulling in several million views daily.
All watching a guy in a dirty T-shirt streaming from a house that could easily be featured on an episode of Hoarders.
Enter Night Inc. Is Mossad Behind the Curtains?
This is where things start to get interesting. Asmongold is represented by Night Media, the talent arm of Night Inc., a Dallas-based talent management company founded in 2015 by Reed Duchscher.
They manage top creators such as Hasan Piker, Kai Cenat, and Safiya Nygaard, all the largest names in the streaming world. Night Inc. even represented Mr. Beast at one point.
Asmongold is listed under Night Media’s roster, which means his career is being steered and potentially boosted by one of the most powerful management companies in the creator economy.
Both Night Inc’s founder and current president are Jewish. The company is also backed by venture capital and operates across talent management, original programming, and seed investing.
If you know anything about talent agencies, you probably know they're usually Jewish-owned and staffed by mostly Jewish managers and agents. This is where celebrity handlers come from: talent agencies.
Rumors have been swirling around Night Inc. for years. Rumors claiming they're an Israeli intelligence cutout, most often linked to Mossad.
Whether you see Night Inc. as business as usual or part of something more coordinated depends on which stage of your journey you’re on, but if you know how these things work, you know real coincidences are rare at this level and nonexistent when it comes to narrative control in the United States. Controlling the narrative is arguably the most important operation of a certain intelligence agency.
As the video below, a clip from 60 Minutes, proves, whether it’s true or not, Mossad certainly believes it controls the world’s narrative.
If Mossad is producing the theatrical production we call reality, then it makes perfect sense that they’d have people like Asmongold to help weave those narratives into the minds of Americans.
Asmongold in the Culture War: The Anti-Woke Warrior
In recent years, Asmongold has become more than just a gamer or reaction streamer; he’s been positioned, intentionally or not, as a weapon in the broader culture war. His commentary, once limited to MMO mechanics and gaming industry gossip, increasingly ventures into social issues and “anti-woke” rhetoric that plays well with a growing audience tired of progressive messaging in media and entertainment.
A posting on Reddit captures the shift in tone within his fan community:
“Every time I see a post of this sub on r/all, it’s a political post about culture wars and 'woke media'…”
His self-proclaimed “declaring war on the woke mob” style clips have exploded on YouTube and TikTok, framing woke values as an invading force that deserves ridicule, not reason.
Even The Atlantic hints at his emerging political role, noting how his commentary frames political figures like Trump not by policy nuance but by gut-level cultural resonance:
“I don’t really care about whether the tariffs are good or bad—I don’t give a f***.”
Meanwhile, critics see something darker in the mix:
“He’s gone from being a goofy WoW streamer… to straight‑up platforming far‑right talking points with pure bias under the excuse of ‘just reacting.’”
Whether this positioning is organic or strategic is up for debate. The fact remains: influencers like Asmongold are valuable in narrative battles because they don’t look like political operatives. They look like an everyman gamer who just happens to be repeating talking points that dovetail perfectly with a broader anti-woke agenda. This makes him a more relatable messenger than traditional pundits, especially for younger men who distrust mainstream political figures but will happily listen to a Twitch streamer they’ve followed for years.
In the fragmented media ecosystem, cultural influence isn’t always about who’s shouting the loudest; it’s about who can slip the message into the bloodstream without it feeling like propaganda. In that regard, Asmongold has become one of the most effective vectors in the fight against “wokeness,” whether by design or simply because the culture warriors recognized his potential and amplified his voice.
October 2024: Something Changes
As I mentioned above, for years, Zach stuck to the same routine and seemed like just another gaming streamer. His take-no-prisoners attitude towards current events drew young men to him like flies on sh**.
He was mostly known as the World of Warcraft guy with anti-woke opinions until October 14th, 2024. This was the day his “Palestinians are an inferior culture” rant hit Twitch, causing his account to be suspended for fourteen days. His first suspension wasn’t due to his own actions, although he received a 24-hour ban in 2022 for a chat moderation issue.
Knowing the problems it would cause, the video clip was posted to YouTube just hours later. He knew it would stir controversy, but he couldn’t have been certain YouTube wouldn’t suspend him. He posted it anyway, almost like it needed to be there.
Watch the rant below.
You would think something so blatantly gross and biased would hurt someone’s career. Luckily for Asmongold, he was talking about Palestinians and not the Israelis. We all know that if the subjects had been reversed, his career would have ended instantly.
Instead of ending his career, it boosted him into the stratosphere. Due to what happened next, some have suggested he was instructed to speak about the Palestinians in this way, and it was his initiation into Hasbara Inc.
What is Hasbara?
Hasbara is a Hebrew term that means “explanation,” but in practice, it refers to Israel’s public diplomacy and propaganda efforts aimed at promoting a positive image of Israel internationally and defending its policies.
Hasbara isn’t simply casual PR. Hasbara campaigns are often coordinated between the Israeli government, affiliated organizations, and sympathetic media or influencers. These campaigns can include:
Messaging to foreign media — shaping how events are reported.
Social media operations — using coordinated posts, paid ads, or even bots to amplify pro-Israel narratives.
Influencer engagement — recruiting high-profile figures to echo Israel-friendly talking points.
Framing language — reframing controversial actions with softer or more favorable terms.
Critics often use “Hasbara” pejoratively, implying it’s state-backed propaganda designed to obscure or spin negative realities, while supporters frame it as necessary truth-telling against misinformation about Israel.
It doesn’t matter what you think of Hasbara; I think we can agree that Asmongold’s rant fits the mold of someone attempting to paint a bad image of Israel’s enemy.
The Elon Musk Boost
Less than a month after his suspension, he begins a very public spat with Elon Musk over Musk allegedly buying top-ranked gaming accounts and passing them off as his own.
Elon Musk’s X account is being used as a launchpad for influencers, and Asmongold received one of these boosts in early January.
Elon leaks their private messages, and Asmon’s name recognition explodes. It was almost the exact playbook used to boost Ian Carroll a month earlier.
Elon supposedly misunderstood what Asmongold meant when he said he had editors. Elon thought these were like newspaper editors telling Asmongold what to say and do. In reality, he just meant video editors. Elon figured he had Asmongold dead to rights, or at least that’s the approved narrative. Who knows what kind of thoughts the ketamine was actually firing through his brain.
Even if this was done to boost Asmongold or it was only used to bring Elon down a few pegs, there's no denying Asmongold was involved with Elon in a psyop of some kind.
Post Hasbara Asmongold
After his alleged Hasbara initiation, he began producing five political videos a day for YouTube, usually reacting to Fox News. He was and still is, parroting Fox News-style talking points like he's Rupert Murdoch’s newly minted protege.
5.74 million YouTube subscribers across multiple channels.
Nearly 6 million Twitch followers.
Now he's building an audience on Kick too; apparently, he plans to program as many minds as possible.
Not long after the Elon Musk leak, major publications started calling Asmongold,
“The Top Political Streamer in America.”
This from a guy who had been exclusively a gaming streamer, aside from the occasional pop culture commentary on things like Depp vs Heard or the Olympics. Politics was brand new territory for Zach, and who would refer to him in this way? Hasan Piker, an actual political streamer who is also signed to Night Media, wasn’t happy about this new title given to his arch-nemesis. Yeah, Hasan and Asmon play the role of mortal enemies, but from the outside looking in, it appears it’s more Hasan hating Asmon and Asmon thinking it’s funny.
Top Political Streamer In America.
Seems like an odd title to earn so quickly, doesn't it?
The Austin Factor Weirdness!
Now for a little weirdness.
Asmongold lives in Austin, Texas. The same city as Alex Jones and Joe Rogan.
If you know the “official” story about how Joe Rogan and Alex Jones met in an Austin bar in the 1990s, when both would have been boot camp/training age, things begin to feel a little strange.
Add to the fact that the…
#1 political streamer (Asmongold)
#1 podcaster (Joe Rogan)
#1 conspiracy theorist (Alex Jones)
All just happen to live in Austin, Texas. The same city that holds the United States militaries…
17th Psychological Battalion,
8th Psychological Operations Group
16th Psychological Operations Battalion
Add all that together, and suddenly the odds that all of them just happen to operate from one of the most psyop-friendly cities in America, things begin feeling very, very strange.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence, right?
Although I have to stop here due to length restrictions, there are more strange details about Asmongold’s story. Which means if this gains some interest, I’ll likely write part two in the near future. Thank you for reading.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve heard of Asmongold. If so, what is your opinion of him?
I’ve never watched his stream, but I have watched more Asmon clips on YouTube than I’d like to admit. I’m definitely not a hater, but I have a sixth sense about these things, and I am leaning heavily towards a CIA/Mossad Connection.
What do you think?

No problem. Matthew North is a unusual rabbit hole. Just his life is a mystery. Definitely worth learning more about. 👍🏻
